General
Many of our cards are made as one-offs, so you will in most cases have a totally unique card that you will not be able to purchase in commercial card shops.
If there is a specific card design that you would like more than one of, please contact us and we will be able to advise you whether this can be achieved or not.
All cards sold on this website are completely hand made. Because of this some duplicate designs may differ slightly.
Please be assured that any personal information taken at the time of ordering will be kept confidential. We will use the information to process and dispatch your order and in no other way. We do not have any access to your credit/debit card numbers.
When you have placed an order you will receive a confirmation e-mail and another when your order has been dispatched.
Payment
There is no minimum order amount.
We accept payment by credit/debit cards through Paypal and by cheque. You do not need a Paypal account to use Paypal. Paypal accept most major credit/debit cards, just follow the clear instructions. If you wish to pay by cheque please make them payable to Handmade by Julia and write your name and address on the reverse. If paying by cheque we need to allow it to clear for at least 5 working days at the bank before sending the goods out to you.
At the moment, Handmade by Julia is not VAT registered. This means we cannot issue you with VAT invoices. NO additional taxes are applied to the prices quoted on this website.
Delivery
We will dispatch your goods as soon as possible after your payment has been received and cleared. In most cases this should be within seven working days of receipt of your order, but is often much sooner. To keep postage costs low, some large orders may arrive in re-used boxes.
All orders will be dispatched Monday to Friday by Royal Mail second class. If you require a special delivery arrangement please contact us for advice.
Postage and packing is charged on the following rating scale:
For orders up to £3.50 = £0.75
For orders from £3.51 and up to £7.00 = £1.50
For orders from £7.01 and up to £14.00 = £2.00
For orders from £14.01 and up to £28.00 = £2.75
For orders from £28.01 and upwards = £4.25 (For larger quantities, postal charges may vary. We will contact you to confirm)
Returns
At Handmade by Julia we want you to be delighted with all your purchases. If for any reason you are not you may return your card to us in its original condition in the cellophane bag.
Please inform us within seven days of receipt and contact us first for a returns number for you to quote on your correspondence. You will be given a full refund minus postage costs on receipt of your card. We cannot be responsible for the cost of return postage. Regrettably we cannot give refunds on personalised cards.
